Property Media Group is a nationwide real estate media production company serving agents, brokerages, builders, and property managers across the United States, with concentrated demand in Florida markets such as Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, and Port Orange. We're building out our contractor network for 2026 and actively recruiting freelance real estate photographers, real estate drone operators, and FAA Part 107 drone pilots who want consistent, well-paid assignments without the overhead of finding, booking, and billing their own clients.
We already hold the client relationships, the pricing, the scheduling, and the editing pipeline. Your job is simple: show up on time, shoot high-quality work, upload the raw files. We handle editing, delivery, customer communication, and payment. You get paid per completed shoot, typically within 7–14 days via ACH or direct deposit as a 1099 contractor.
If you are a working real estate photographer in Florida, a drone pilot looking for more real-estate-specific assignments, or a rising photographer who wants steady paid reps instead of chasing cold leads, this is the opportunity.

Compensation & Pay Structure
All assignments are paid per completed shoot, with rates scaled by square footage, media mix, and travel. We keep pricing transparent so you can plan your schedule and income.
- Interior photography: $75–$150 per shoot (depending on size and package)
- Aerial / drone photo + video: $45–$85 add-on, or $95–$175 standalone
- Combined photo + drone: $140–$230 per property
- Twilight, 3D tours, floor plans, video walkthroughs: priced individually
- Travel: standard trip covered within a local radius; long-distance paid extra
Payment is issued as 1099 contractor income, delivered via ACH, typically 7–14 days after the shoot is approved. Taxes, insurance, and gear are your responsibility, as with any contractor relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need FAA Part 107 to apply?
Only if you want drone assignments. Ground-only real estate photographers do not need Part 107, but photographers who also fly with an active certificate get more work.
Is this a W-2 job or a 1099 contract?
Strictly 1099 contractor. You set your own availability, use your own gear, and handle your own taxes and insurance. This is not employment, and we don't withhold payroll taxes.
Do I have to be in Florida?
No. We're a nationwide network and we take applicants from all 50 states. That said, our current volume is heaviest in Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Port Orange) so Florida-based applicants usually ramp up on assignments faster.
How much can I realistically earn?
It depends on your market, availability, and whether you fly. Active contractors in strong Florida markets typically complete 2–5 shoots per active day once onboarded, with per-shoot compensation in the ranges above. Income is proportional to how many assignments you accept.
Do you handle editing, or do I?
We handle editing in-house. You deliver raw files using our upload workflow. This is a deliberate part of the model so you spend your time shooting, not at a computer.
How fast will I start getting assignments after approval?
Usually within 1–2 weeks of onboarding, depending on demand in your coverage zip codes and how quickly you complete our short orientation. Florida onboarding is typically faster due to current volume.
What if my application is declined?
We'll tell you why, and in most cases it's about portfolio fit or coverage area rather than a permanent no. You're welcome to reapply once you've addressed the gap.
