Our Commitment

Property Media Group, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

Our website is regularly audited against WCAG 2.1 AA. We work to remediate identified barriers as quickly as practical, and treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time compliance event.

What We Have Done

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>).
  • "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
  • WCAG AA color contrast on primary call-to-action buttons (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements.
  • Form fields with associated <label> and aria-required attributes.
  • Alternative text on informative images.
  • Screen-reader compatible navigation, breadcrumbs, and modals.
  • Mobile-friendly responsive design.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on our site may not be fully accessible for every user. Areas we are actively improving:

  • Carousel/slider components: we are adding pause controls for auto-rotating content.
  • Third-party embeds (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe Checkout) follow their own accessibility standards which may not match ours.
  • Older blog posts may have images with non-descriptive alt text being progressively improved.

If you encounter accessibility barriers on propertyhdr.com, please tell us. We take accessibility complaints seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days with a remediation plan.
